History: The Every family consists of a very long line of proud marines and Jack Every is no exception. Thanks to his family genes, Jack, like his many fathers before him, is about twice the size of a normal human and comes packed with pride. Growing up as a kid, he looked up to his Father and Grandfather, constantly in their Marine Uniform and wished for the day where he could wear that same uniform, maybe even a day where he can have JUSTICE printed on his back. Under this positive influence he grew up playing Marines and Pirates where he was always the Marine.
Unlike any other kid, instead of asking for an allowance and such, Jack would ask his father to train him. So, starting from a young age, his father would train with Jack a few times a month. Training became more frequent as Jack grew older.
At a young age, Jack joined the Marines and it was no surprise to his fellow mates and higher ranking officers that he was a natural. He trained hard every day and made an attempt to surpass his limits. It wasn't long before Jack was recommended a promotion. Before long he became a Captain.
Sometime later after becoming a Captain, Jack made the biggest bust of his career. By lucky chance, his marine ship had stopped a Pirate Crew who had just gotten away with A LOAD OF TREASURE; apparently a treasure map leading to a former pirate with fortune beyond belief. After a fierce battle, Jack and the rest of his ship had come out victorious. Having his crew standby and apprehend the pirates, he went to go check the ship out. Upon entering the Captain's chamber, his eyes glistened with the golden glow coming off all the treasure, but that wasn't the only treasure. All the chambers were brimming with various pieces of gold and jewels, this drove the greedy side of Jack out. Using some back-handed tactics, Jack managed to set off a series of explosions which sent the ship along with the marines and the pirates to the bottom of the sea.
It wasn't long before this news was spread and he was deemed a traitor and given a Bounty. The treasure had changed his once admirable demeanor and replaced it with greed; along with his already power-hungry personality, he was now in search for not only getting stronger, but for more treasure - and thus his adventure for one piece began.
Hiring some sell-swords which eventually became his crew, he roamed the seas and finally found himself where some call Paradise, The Beginning half of the Grand Line.
After meeting Oliver D. Phawkes at Halfway Island, he made a deal with the self-proclaimed pirate king and started his adventures.
